A weather report, not a forecast

The ticker at the top of the site pulls delayed NSE-style quotes: headline indices plus liquid names that moved. Treat it like looking out the window.

• Green across indices does not mean “buy everything.”
• A sharp loser is not automatically a bargain.
• Volume filters on our tape try to skip thin, jumpy names so students are not studying noise.

How we use it in class

We might ask: which sector is participating? Are movers concentrated in one theme? Is the move already extended versus the last swing? Those are discussion prompts. They are not research reports on any individual company, and they are not recommendations.

Your own work still matters
